WE SURVIVED THE SUMMER OF 100* +!
We finally have been able to say GOODBYE to the 100* + temperatures! As I write this, it is a cool 63* outside. Yesterday we even received some rain! Maybe Fall is here and, hopefully, will stay around.
Group Lessons were fun!
This past week was Group Week! We had crossword puzzles, various worksheets, and, of course, Composer Go Fish--at which this teacher was thoroughly skunked not once, not twice but at every Group lesson. Mystery Composer Clues were passed out; October's clue may be found at this link. Students should have taken home their M.C. Clue but if not, students and parents will be able to find the clue here.
Fall Break Schedule:
The Studio will be closed October 7th, 8th & 9th for the NPS Fall Break.
Monday, October 5th will be the scheduled make-up day for those Monday lessons missed on Labor Day. Tuesday, October 6th will be a general makeup day as needed.
NAMTA Fall Festival
This year's Fall Festival will be on Saturday, November 7th, at Catlett Music Center. We will still use our Halloween music and you may still wear your costume if you so desire. Unfortunately, Catlett's schedule dictated the November date.
Completed Fall Festival ENTRY FORMS are due to me by Monday, October 5th. Entry fees will be added to your October Statement.

Fall Semester Dates To Remember:
- October 7th, 8th & 9th : Fall Break, Studio is closed
- November 7th: NAMTA Fall Festival at Catlett Music Center, Univ. of Oklahoma
- November 23-27: Happy Thanksgiving Break, Studio is closed.
- Week of December 14: Elementary Christmas Mini-recitals/Secondary Christmas Pajama Group
- December 21 - January 3: Studio closed; Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
COVID/FLU STUDIO PROTOCOL
- Masks will now be optional. Parents, please let me know if you want teacher and student to be masked during lessons.
- ALL students will use hand sanitizer upon arriving at the Studio.
- If a student has a cough and/or fever, that student should NOT come to his/her lesson. When in doubt, text me; we will decide on the best course of action.
- If a family member or a student has tested positive for Covid, I should be contacted immediately. That student will then be taught virtually until either the quarantine is over or the student recovers.

Remember, according to Studio Policies: Refunds or credits will not be given for lessons or classes missed or canceled by the student. When the student has a conflict, please notify me as soon as possible. Two days prior notice for school events are necessary to qualify for a makeup lesson.
Illness: If a student does not go to school the day of his lesson due to illness, he/she should NOT come to piano lesson! Parents should notify me of the student’s illness; there will be two makeup days scheduled during the semester for those missed lessons. Lessons madeup for illnesses will be limited to two a semester.
