The snow is MELTING! The sun is SHINING!! I hope all are safe and warm with no frozen pipes. It has definitely been a challenge for me to teach and for students to learn virtually during the past 13 days with record setting cold temperatures as well as snow fall. The studio's temperature got down to 60*--it was a very cold room to teach in. I am so very glad to see the sun today! What a winter! ❄️❄️
Note: I have been having trouble with updating some of the links on the website. As most of you know, I am not the most "computer literate" person in the world; I have scheduled a tutoring session for next week but until then, please bear with me. If you have any questions regarding dates, deadlines, or performances, please email me.
2021 Spring Semester Information/Covid-19 Update
Covid-19 numbers are finally coming down. Vaccinations are being given -- both Mr. Pullin and I have had both our doses. Since the snow is also melting and one can actually walk to the studio door without plowing through snow drifts, we we will back to our A-B block Schedule. Therefore:
OMTA District/State Achievement Auditions
This year there at 16 students from the Studio participating in OMTA District Achievement Auditions. See this link regarding more information.

Covid-19 numbers are finally coming down. Vaccinations are being given -- both Mr. Pullin and I have had both our doses. Since the snow is also melting and one can actually walk to the studio door without plowing through snow drifts, we we will back to our A-B block Schedule. Therefore:
- The week of Feb. 22 is A week (if you are not sure which week you are, please email me.)
- Students MUST wear a mask for in-person lessons; only 1 other person (parent/caregiver) may attend with the student.
- NAMTA has moved the annual Mall Marathon from February to June. The date will be a challenge for all of us--students and teacher--but will also be a fun way to get back together, in person, without so many concerns about spreading the virus.
- IF the Covid-19 numbers continue to come down, we will move to all in-person lessons after Spring Break. Parents will have the option of virtual lessons for their students if they so desire. Masks will still be required for all in-person lessons.

Illness: If a student does not go to school the day of his lesson due to illness, he/she should NOT come to piano lesson! Parents should notify me of the student’s illness; there will be two makeup days scheduled during the semester for those missed lessons. Lessons madeup for illnesses will be limited to two a semester.
