SpringSemester 2025
Personal News - Mr. Pullin
Mr. Pullin is making some progress in his recovery from the brain bleeds and stroke. He was moved from ICU to PCU 3 days ago -- a step in the right direction. I appreciate deeply the care, support, and love from the members of the studio.
While I deeply regret postponing the opening of the studio for the spring semester, I am looking forward seeing all my students this coming week! We have a busy semester ahead of us so I plan to jump into the semester with both feet!
NAMTA Mall Marathon
The Sooner Mall Marathon is a free, annual event sponsored by NAMTA in order to give music students the opportunity to perform in a casual setting. It is the appropriate venue for a wide variety of musical styles and performance. Among the most successful types are duet and ensemble pieces, original compositions and popular and rock idioms. Various studios perform throughout the two days.
Dates: February 15 and 16. Pullin Piano Studio - TBA
OMTA District Achievement Auditions
The Oklahoma Music Teachers Association [OMTA] District Achievement Audition allows students in school grades K-12 (3-12 for the Merit Division) to perform in a non-competitive setting in order to recognize and encourage individual achievement without comparison or contrast with other students of similar age and/or length of study.
For further information see this page.
Spring Recitals
This spring's recitals are Monday and Tuesday, May 19 & 20th. Our youngest grandson will be graduating from Olathe High School on Saturday, May 17th so we will be in Kansas Friday, Saturday and Sunday. May is such a wonderful night!
Parents, please let me know which night you would prefer your student to perform sooner rather than later. Thank you!

COVID/FLU STUDIO PROTOCOL
- Masks will now be optional. Parents, please let me know if you want teacher and student to be masked during lessons.
- ALL students will use hand sanitizer upon arriving at the Studio.
- If a student has a cough and/or fever, that student should NOT come to his/her lesson. When in doubt, text me; we will decide on the best course of action.
- If a family member or a student has tested positive for Covid, I should be contacted immediately. That student will then be taught virtually until either the quarantine is over or the student recovers.
🎵Happy New Year!🎵
Remember, according to Studio Policies: Refunds or credits will not be given for lessons or classes missed or canceled by the student. When the student has a conflict, please notify me as soon as possible. Two days prior notice for school events are necessary to qualify for a makeup lesson.
Illness: If a student does not go to school the day of his lesson due to illness, he/she should NOT come to piano lesson! Parents should notify me of the student’s illness; there will be two makeup days scheduled during the semester for those missed lessons. Lessons madeup for illnesses will be limited to two a semester.
