May Recitals
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!!
This year's recitals were wonderful! We had so much fun! Thank you students for wonderful performances! Saturday night we had to keep an eye on the severe weather; Monday night an eye on the attack mosquitoes! Saturday night we had 72 students, parents and grandparents; Monday night we had 71. Saturday night's reception was the shortest in 36 years -- due to Oklahoma's stormy weather. Monday night's reception saw us able to go out on the porch but not the yard since there was still some standing water -- until the mosquitos drove us back inside.
Students performed very well, and yes, Mr. Copland did appear at both recitals. Mr. Copland made it his mission to mess me up on "I Bought Me A Cat"; he succeeded on the last line at Monday's recital. Fun, laughter and wonderful music making was the theme of both nights. I hope all enjoyed it!
Check out the pictures from each night. Parents, if you do not see your student, then I have not yet received permission from you to include his/her picture. (See form on the "Student Form" page in this website.) Parents, if you have pictures from your night, please email them to me. If you wish, I can add them to this page.
