Norman Area Music Teachers Association's Fall Festival
Fall Festival is Saturday, October 23rd! Please read through the forms that will be sent home with your student after his/her private lesson the week of October 18th. All information needed is included on these forms. General information is as follows:
1. Location: OU’s Catlett Music Center, entrance off Elm Street. There will be a NAMTA table with teachers to help with directions. The room number you perform in is on the NAMTA form clipped to your music.
2. Attire: Students: If you wish, you may wear your Halloween costumes to perform in. OR: Girls: nice slacks or skirts. Boys: dockers or slacks will be great. Ties are not mandatory. Hair should be combed, hands should be washed. Soccer players coming off the field: uniform will be okay, just be sure your hair is combed and face and hands are washed.
3. Students are in charge of their music and forms!!!!! You MUST bring your music with the NAMTA form I will clip to the front. Your audition time and room number are listed on that form. This NAMTA form is your "ticket" to perform; without it you will not be allowed to play. I will NOT have extra forms or copies of music with me.
4. Parents: I would love to have pictures of your students after they have performed. Please send them by email ([email protected]) or text (405)-312-3433.
5. Please note: In lieu of signing liability forms this year, OU is requiring minors (any performers or non-performers siblings/friends) attending Fall Festival or Kidsfest to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students, family and friends who drive but who are not yet 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
